How Brindavan Estates is run.

Our on-site team plans the plantation, plants it and looks after it all week: watering, weeding, pruning and the harvest. The team uses natural farming with the farm's own microbial solutions and leaf extracts, and the farm's fertilizers are made on site. You don't hire or supervise anyone, and you pay no maintenance fee. The full process is on our how it works page, and the layers of the farm are on the food forest page.

What an owner gets.

You own the land, and Vriksha Farms looks after the farm. Our on-site team coordinates the day-to-day work: attention to the soil, planting, irrigation, routine care, security and harvest activities. You stay involved in what interests you, and the team handles the ongoing care. You pay no maintenance fee. Spend your visits getting to know your land.

What grows here.

The proposed agroforestry approach brings together three planting layers. The first is seasonal crops: turmeric and sweet potato, each with its own cycle of planting and harvest. The second is intercrops: banana and pepper, which add variety to the farm. The third is longer-term trees, with tree planting that develops over the years and gradually shapes the land and its canopy.

Planting depends on soil, water, season and site suitability. The layers of a food forest are explained on the food forest page.

A home of your own, if you want one.

You can choose an optional compact home built with compressed earth blocks, or explore a farmhouse designed around your preferences. The home concept is around 400 sq ft, and the home and garden in our brochure illustration cover around 2,400 sq ft. A shaded sit-out, a small gazebo, a garden swing and tropical planting can make the outdoors personal.

A day at Brindavan Estates.

Some visits are spent entirely on the farm: a walk without turning it into a workout, a shady spot, a long dinner and, on a clear night, a look at the stars. Others take you further. Explore the wider countryside around Kanakapura, or plan an outing towards Dabbaguli or Hogenakal. Check local access, seasonal conditions and any required permissions before setting out.

Brindavan Estates is envisioned for people drawn to nature, growing things and spending more time outdoors.
